Curtains up for Energy Saving Theatres

The Theatres Trust and green advisory group Julie's Bicylce launched a new guide to help theatres cut energy bills and plan for a sustainable future.
The aim of the new guide is to urge cultural building managers to save money by cutting both energy consuptions and carbon emmissions.
Mhora Samuel, Director at The Theatres Trust said: “The way theatres use and generate energy is part of their DNA. ‘Energising Culture’ will guide many more theatres to make the right energy decisions and help them to become more energy efficient.” (www.energylivenews.com, 12/06/2012)
