Eon axes 500 UK jobs

After recently increasing their prices Eon energy today announced they were cutting 500 Uk jobs.

Chris Huhne has announced that the Government will be cracking down on the Big Six to prevent further energy price increases.

EDF Energy's recent price rises have pushed the average bill up to £1,300.

EDF Energy has expressed “disappointment” after it was the only Big Six energy firm to experience a rise in complaints.
