Action
When the hospitals were sold, LSI negotiated the transfer of the previous rates to the new company. This action avoided the need for renegotiation of a new contract as is usually the case under the Change of Tenancy rules.
Result
As the market was substantially higher than when the contract rates had originally been negotiated, a significant saving was achieved for the new company for the remaining nine months of the original contract term.
